A difusão do conhecimento científico através de bibliotecas digitais de teses e dissertações está se efetivando na web. Estas bibliotecas são constituídas predominantemente de textos em diferentes formatos digitais. Atualmente vários tipos de documentos são produzidos durante uma pesquisa científica, mas apenas os documentos textuais são catalogados nas bibliotecas digitais. Este artigo apresenta um modelo onde outros tipos de documentos digitais podem ser manipulados. Este modelo cataloga objetos de aprendizagem, utilizando o modelo SCORM, que se tornam acessíveis para diversos ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem Abstract Scientific Knowledge diffusion through digital libraries of thesis and dissertations is taking place in web. Digital libraries are predominately composed of texts in different digital formats. Currently, several types of documents are produced throughout a scientific research, but only the textual documents are catalogued in digital libraries. This paper presents a model in which other types of digital documents can be manipulated. The proposed model catalogues learning objects using the Sharable Content Object Reference Model, which become more accessible for several learning virtual environments
