| Nota de resumo | Pesquisa em andamento no Departamento de Ciências da Informação da Universidade Estadual de Londrina, com o objetivo de identificar significados e conseqüências das práticas avaliativas no curso de Biblioteconomia, destacando experiências positivas de avaliação no entendimento dos alunos. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa utilizou-se a metodologia da problematização a qual segue as seguintes etapas: observação da realidade; identificação dos pontos chave; teorização; hipóteses de solução e aplicação à realidade. Neste trabalho são apresentados os resultados do estudo piloto o qual contemplou as etapas da observação da realidade e identificação dos pontoschave. A coleta de dados foi realizado através de um questionário, o qual evidenciou que o seminário é a prática de avaliação mais positiva no âmbito do curso de Biblioteconomia da UEL, da forma entendida pelos alunos. Os resultados obtidos no teste piloto demonstraram a fragilidade do entendimento do seminário como prática avaliativa e direcionam a continuidade da pesquisa através de outras técnicas de coletas de dados, dentre elas o grupo de foco. Paralelo a este estudo, encontra-se em desenvolvimento um subprojeto de I.C. que tem por objetivo aprofundar o entendimento do seminário por alunos e professores |

| Nota de resumo | Ongoing research in the State University of Londrina Department of Information Science aiming at the identification of meaning and consequences of the evaluation practices in the Library Science course, with highlights on the positive experiences of the evaluation from students point of view. To develop this research, the methodology of problematization was used following the phases of observation of the reality; identification of key-points; theorization; solutions hypothesis and application of reality. The results of the pilot study are presented in this study, contemplating the phases of observation of reality and the identification of key-points. The data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire through which it was evidenced that from the students point of view, the seminar is the most positive evaluation practice within the State University of Londrina Library Science Course. The data obtained from this pilot study have evidenced a weakness in the understanding of the seminar as a evaluation practice and have led to the community of the research by means of some other practices and data collection, being among them, the focused group. Concomitantly to this study, an scientific iniciation subproject is being developed with the purpose of deepening the understanding of the seminar by students and teachers |
