<br/><br/> Greater demands on higher education hans meant that new teaching methods and new media have been used to allow more independence inpersonal learning. In university libraries this change has been influenced by the concepts of " college-library " and the " generic book ". The expression " resource centre" is being used to designate the expanded role of the library, where both printed and non-printed media are considered of equal importance and where more communication is required between the library/A-V Unit and those involved in the teaching/learning process
