In university libraries this change has been influenced by the concepts of " college-library " and the " generic book ". The expression " resource centre" is being used to designate the expanded role of the library, where both printed and non-printed media are considered of equal importance and where more communication is required between the library/A-V Unit and those involved in the teaching/learning process
